The Opportunity
As an RVT at Steeples Veterinary Clinic, you will be involved in a wide variety of patient care activities, including:
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
• Dentistry and dental radiography
• Laboratory diagnostics and in house testing
• Digital radiography and patient imaging
• Patient nursing care and treatment administration
• Client communication and education
• Assisting veterinarians with medical procedures and appointments
Our practice provides care for companion animals, equine patients, and livestock, offering a diverse and engaging caseload. While we are a mixed animal practice, this position can be tailored primarily toward companion animal medicine if preferred.
One of the unique aspects of practicing in the East Kootenays is the opportunity to see a broad range of advanced cases. Because there is no nearby referral hospital, our veterinary teams routinely diagnose and manage complex medical, surgical, and emergency cases locally. This creates an excellent environment for RVTs who enjoy learning, expanding their skills, and taking an active role in patient care.
