Grand Valley Animal Clinic is a busy, progressive 8-veterinarian small animal practice looking for a full-time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our team.
Our clinic is fully equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, a complete in-house laboratory, ultrasound, endoscopy, therapeutic laser, and an underwater treadmill.
We provide a wide range of services such as small animal medicine and surgery, orthopedics, referral ultrasound, endoscopy, rehabilitation, and some exotic animal care.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an RVT who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work independently, and excels at multitasking. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, team-oriented, and eager to continue learning and growing in the field.
What You’ll Do in This Role:
Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and medical procedures
Perform radiographs, including digital and dental imaging
Collect and process laboratory samples using our full in-house lab
Monitor anesthesia and provide surgical nursing support
Provide patient care and treatments, including administering medications
Assist with ultrasound and endoscopy procedures
Support rehabilitation services, including underwater treadmill sessions
Communicate with clients to provide education, discharge instructions, and updates on patient care
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure smooth workflow within the clinic
Handle and care for small animals and some exotics
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
