The Animal Hospital of Manitoba has been building an All-Star medical and support team. Now we would like to add yet another Full-Time Registered Veterinary Technologist to knock it out of the park (Gold-Eyes season, obviously). Our busy, privately owned practice has a new Veterinarian smiling during exams, and an outstanding RVT that will be ready to help you find your place on our team. Our outstanding Vet Assistants are the crucial link to keeping this place held together and can be relied on for all helpful daily tasks. What can you expect when you join our roster? Besides a great work environment, you will utilize your nursing, surgical, laboratory, medical, and patient/client focused skills…. If you’ve learned it, you will get to use it. (except no large animal 😉)
Okay, let’s talk logistics; our clinic is equipped with an IDEXX lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, fully stocked surgery suite, video microscopy, video otoscopy, k-laser therapy, CO2 laser surgery, Tonovet, Infrared camera for diagnosis and more. We encourage C.E. so if you have a specialty or are interested in developing one we would love to talk.
We offer group benefits, CE allowance, volunteer time, uniform allowance, MVTA and MVMA dues, and in house discounts. We welcome new grads to apply. Our pay scale will reflect your time and experience, starting at $27/hour, and increasing for experienced RVTs.
