Responsibilities:
• Provide high quality restraint, monitoring, and treatment care to patients.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, anesthesia, and diagnostic procedures.
• Perform technical tasks such as blood collection, IV catheter placement, laboratory testing, and radiology.
• Record and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with clinic protocols.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Provide an exceptional client experience by explaining procedures, aftercare, and medication details.
Qualifications:
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation in Manitoba.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to conduct professional and meaningful conversations when providing client education.
• A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous learning.
