RVT Wanted at St James Veterinary Hospital.
We are looking a Registered Veterinary Technologists to:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, to assist in diagnosing animal health issues.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals pre- and post-surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Provide education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Handle animals safely and compassionately during examinations and treatments.
Previous experience as an RVT is preferred. We are willing to provide training to new graduates.
