Are you a compassionate, driven, and skilled Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) looking to grow your career in a supportive, mixed animal practice? Minnedosa Veterinary Clinic is excited to welcome a new RVT to our team!
Our mixed animal practice is 80% small animal and 20% large animal. Our staff includes four veterinarians, four RVTs, one assistant and two receptionists. We pride ourselves on creating an environment that promotes staff retention.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with physical exams, diagnostics, and medical procedures for both small and large animals.
• Perform laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Provide high-quality patient care, including emergency response and nursing support.
• Educate pet owners and livestock producers about preventative care and treatment options.
• Maintain patient records and ensure clinic equipment is well-maintained.
• Support our veterinarians with all aspects of the clinical workflow.
Qualifications:
• Registered Veterinary Technologist designation in Manitoba (or eligible to obtain).
• New grads are welcome – we’re excited to help you grow your skills!
• Passion for animal care and a strong interest in both small and large animal work.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
