Racing Forensics is hiring Registered Veterinary Technologist for equine venipuncture at Assiniboia Downs. This position is part-time, seasonal.
Shifts at Assiniboia Downs are on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from May – October. Shifts start in the afternoon and end in the late evening.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties:
– Collect blood samples from horses and administer IV medication
– Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
– Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
– Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience:
– Registered Veterinary Technologist
– Experience working with or around horses
– Proficient in phlebotomy
– Excellent attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
