Position Overview
We are currently seeking two Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our growing team. The ideal candidates are motivated, reliable, and passionate about patient care, client education, and teamwork.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead RVT to guide our technical team, uphold high medical standards, and lead the training and development of RVTs and veterinary assistants. This role is ideal for a confident leader who thrives in mentorship, organization, and advancing clinical excellence.
We also seek a RVT to join our growing technical team. This role will work closely with our Lead RVT, making it an excellent opportunity for a motivated RVT who values mentorship, skill development, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with routine and advanced surgical procedures
Monitor anesthesia and recover post-operative patients
Perform laboratory diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology)
Obtain patient histories and assist with exams
Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
Take radiographs and assist with diagnostic imaging
Provide excellent client education and communication
Maintain accurate medical records
Uphold hospital protocols for safety, sanitation, and patient care
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with MVMA/MVTA
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required (new graduates are welcome to apply)
- Strong anesthesia, surgical, and nursing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
