Starting on September 1, our Advancement Fund will open its doors to provide support to RVTs looking to further their education. We understand that continuous learning is crucial to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine, and we want to help our members thrive in their careers.

The MVTA RVT Advancement Fund was created to provide funds for RVTs in good standing who may want to pursue a specialist designation, an undergraduate or graduate degree, attend a conference, transition to a new aspect of animal health or for RVTs that require monetary support to engage in new initiatives related to the animal health care team.

We have made slight modification to our applications process as we will be only allowing applications between September 1 to 22, 2025 and will be awarding amounts by October 1, 2025. Previous winners will not be able to receive funding at this time so we can allow for all members to have an opportunity to apply and receive a portion of this annual bursary.

This year we have budgeted $4,500 towards this years applications. We ask that all applicants please answer the questions accurately and to the best of their ability.

This bursary will assist in covering educational expenses, enabling our members to pursue advanced training, certifications, and degrees. Members can also include reimbursement for our MVTA 2025 Advanced Training Conference that is taking place this October 18-19 as part of their application.
