MVTA 2025 Advanced Training October 18-19, 2025

The MVTA is excited to be hosting a two day hands-on CE event at Red River College Polytechnic on October 18-19, 2025.

The goal for this training is to provide our members with low cost hands-on training to advance their skills in the five key areas, Dental Radiology, Ultrasound, Emergency, Large Animal and Nutrition.

Please note there are limits to session sizes to ensure our instructor can work with each group while performing hands-on training. It is important to register as soon as possible to ensure you are able to get into the labs you are interested in.

New This Year - We have created a travel bursary opportunity for attendees who will be attending our conference but live 90 minutes or more from Winnipeg. Selected recipients will be awarded one night hotel stay and a $50 gas gift card. The draw for these bursaries will take place on October 1, 2025.

We have several opportunities for attendees receive a travel sponsorship opportunity that have been sponsored by: WDDC, Eickemeyer and Trupanion. The hotel will be booked by the MVTA.

Pet Volunteers(Required)

We are looking for pets (canine and feline) to volunteer for our ultrasound wet lab. Last year we had attendees volunteer their pets to be scanned during the lab. We have a DVM onsite to administer sedation and your pet will be monitored through out their scan and will be under the watchful eye until you pick them up. If you would like to volunteer your pet, please answer the questions below:

To request a refund, please send an email to [email protected] no later than 10 days before the event. Refunds will be issued through the original payment method, minus the credit card charged processing fee. Registrations may be transferred to another individual at no additional cost by contacting us for assistance. In the event of cancellation by the MVTA, full refunds will be issued to all registered attendees. By registering for this event, you agree to these terms and conditions.
