RVT Wanted at True North Veterinary Eye Care in Winnipeg

True North Veterinary Eye Care is looking to build its dream team as we launch Manitoba’s first full-service Ophthalmology practice. Our vision is to offer state-of-the-art specialty care that will have an impact within Manitoba and beyond. We have ambitious goals, but at our core, we are a patient-centred, family-oriented, independently-owned practice. As our big goals extend beyond work, we offer a four day work week with no weekends. We are currently temporarily based out of Winrose Animal Hospital. We are in the process of renovating a beautiful purpose-built clinic, which we anticipate will open in Summer 2024. To learn more about our practice, please visit our website at www.truenorthveteye.com.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about details (after all, we’re eye nerds), client education, and anesthesia. This is ideally suited to the RVT who has a mix of interests in both medicine and surgery. As a small start-up practice, you will have many opportunities to take on projects and make them your own. This is a rare opportunity to really shape the practice that you work at.

We are hoping that the next addition to our small but mighty team is someone who loves anesthesia and who aspires to pursue VTS (veterinary technician specialist) certification in Ophthalmology. By achieving VTS status, you would be part of a select group of Canadian VTS certified veterinary technicians and amongst the first in Manitoba.
