The Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA) is the regulatory body for the veterinary profession in the Province of Manitoba, as set out in The Veterinary Medical Act. As the Provincial regulator, the MVMA sets the rules for the practice of veterinary medicine in Manitoba for both Veterinarians and Veterinary Technologists.

Veterinary Technologist are required to be hold membership with the both the MVMA and MVTA in order to practice veterinary medicine in Manitoba.
