Racing Forensics is hiring RVTs for equine venipuncture at Assiniboia Downs.
Shifts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons and evenings (May 13 – Oct 8). Start times may vary depending on track scheduling.
Training will be provided. Excellent compensation.
Duties
Collect blood samples from horses and/or administer IV medication
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Ensure chain-of-custody of samples
Complete official documentation and records
Skills/Experience
Graduate or student of a Veterinary Technologist program or equivalent experience
Experience working with horses
Proficient in phlebotomy
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
