Our busy and compassionate veterinary clinic is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our 2 doctor team! If you’re a dedicated professional with a passion for animal health and welfare, this is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and be an integral part of providing exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians with surgeries, diagnostic procedures, and patient care
• Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and cytology
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
• Provide care to hospitalized patients, including administering medications and treatments
• Take radiographs, perform dental cleanings, and prepare animals for surgery
• Educate clients on post-operative care, nutrition, and general wellness
• Maintain medical records and manage patient files
Qualifications:
• Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT)
• 1-2 years of experience as an RVT (new graduates are welcome to apply!)
• Proficient in animal handling, laboratory procedures, and anesthesia monitoring
• Strong communication and client education skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to animal care
